Contemplation, Relaxation, Enjoyment : The baroque vaults of the French “Friedrichstadt” church already were a retreat at the beginning of the 18th century when they were commissioned by King Frederic 1st as a refuge for the Huguenots of Berlin.Today the Refugium combines this tradition with gracious hospitality in a beautiful atmosphere.
Our internationally inspired kitchen relies on the usage of fresh prime quality regional ingredients. We value the naturally grown product and its original taste. Our menue includes a finely coordinated choice of typical seasonal dishes as well as specialties with a slight touch of the Middle Eastern and Far Eastern cuisines.
